Fifteen years with the Men in Black have taught Agent J to take alien encounters in stride. His dry, tight-lipped partner remains a harder mystery to solve. When K’s survival and the future of the planet are suddenly at stake, J heads back in time to put things right. The Agent K he meets there is younger, and working with him gives J a chance to understand what his partner has never explained. What he learns could make the difference for K, for the agency, and for humanity.
