After learning the identity of their true enemy—someone connected to Akito and responsible for the Geass placed on him—W-0 attempts to return to Castle Weisswolf. A complication with their military identification leaves them stranded in Warsaw, where local gypsies offer assistance, giving the squad time to strengthen their bonds. Meanwhile, Britannian advisor Julius Kingsley and his guard Suzaku Kururugi team up with the Knights of St. Michael, armed with the destructive Ark Fleet, to crush the European resistance once and for all.
