Plot
Yann seems to have a happy life with his two children and his loving partner Julianne, but he is unhappy. He dreams of writing a prize-winning novel yet drinks instead, and when Julianne leaves him for a TV director, he is left to care for the children alone.

Plot

Yann lives with his two children and Julianne, a beautiful and dynamic woman, yet he feels unhappy. For ten years he has dreamed of writing a great novel that wins the Prix Goncourt, but all he produces is the adventures of the TV figure Hippopoum, and he turns to alcohol. When Julianne leaves him for the director of a TV station, Yann is devastated because she leaves the children with him, and he is incapable of taking care of them.
