Three years have passed since Jurassic World was destroyed and people abandoned Isla Nublar. The dinosaurs left behind face a different danger when the volcano that has long been dormant starts showing signs of activity. Owen and Claire mount a campaign to save the animals still on the island. Their effort is a race against a natural disaster powerful enough to extinguish the surviving population.
