A government-built cyborg known as Mark 13 is equipped with artificial intelligence and the ability to repair and recharge itself from any energy source. Through a series of coincidences, its severed head is delivered to a sculptress as a bizarre Christmas present from her boyfriend. Once inside her home, the machine reconstructs the rest of its body using household utensils and begins a murderous rampage.
