Plot
Warning: spoilers
As Czechoslovakia begins to recognize that roughly 750,000 of its citizens are gay or lesbian, this documentary offers a candid portrait of the country's early gay rights movement. Through remarkably frank interviews with gay individuals, activists, and outspoken homophobes, the director reveals both the innocence of a nascent struggle for acceptance and the chilling prejudice that surrounds it.
